Prior to joining the Business Development Department, Jacobson worked in Marketing Partnerships, overseeing multimillion-dollar sponsorships for USA Basketball, coordinating grassroots tours and special events – including NBA All-Star and NBA Draft – and managing accounts across all properties. She was soon creating different revenue-generating opportunities and securing new corporate alliances through multi-channel activation platforms, most notably the T-Mobile partnership. She also worked in the league’s Global Merchandising Group, where she pursued opportunities for sponsors, retail partners, and licensees to work with the NBA and WNBA on league promotions. Jacobson launched her NBA career as part of the then-newly adopted management training program.
As a rising star in the sports industry SportsBusiness Journal named Jacobson to its 2010 Forty Under 40 list. She is a charter member of the W.O.M.E.N.
