Kathleen Boon recently transitioned careers and joined EY in 2014 as a Senior Consultant in Advisory Services, focusing on Performance Improvement and Finance Transformation. Prior to EY, she spent the past 10 years of her career at Morgan Stanley in Institutional Sales and Trading. There Kathleen held the title of Vice President and was the desk manager in charge of Securities Lending for International Developed Markets out of North America. In one year, after senior management changes, Kathleen successfully rebuilt and revitalized the International Developed Markets desk out of the U.S. to become a group that would lead with innovations across market analysis, client service, process improvement, and IT development.

During her role as desk manager, Kathleen led a six-person team responsible for managing and growing a $35 billion short book of equity securities in Europe, Japan, and Australia. She had a variety of responsibilities including risk management, growing market share, forecasting industry trends, hedge fund sales, and talent management. Kathleen is a dynamic, results-oriented professional who excels at team building and has a proven track record in negotiating and coordinating partnerships across global business units.
Kathleen started her career at Morgan Stanley spending two years as an associate in the Fixed Income Division of Global Wealth Management. She then moved to the Securities Lending Division where she spent six years as a trader of the European Equity Markets and was promoted to desk manager the last two years. She was promoted to Vice President after six years with the firm. After a decade in finance, Kathleen decided to pursue an alternate career path and is working on developing her consulting knowledge base at EY.
Kathleen received her B.S.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in 2001 and completed a continuing education course from The Investment Banking Institute Financial Modeling and Valuation Training Program.
Kathleen has a strong interest in fashion and enjoys traveling, the performing arts, and spending time with friends and family.
