Kathryn A. Cassidy is retired from her role as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of GE Company and GE Capital.

As Treasurer, she and her team were responsible for global funding and liquidity, cash management, exposure management and treasury services for all of GE’s worldwide operations. Almost all of GE’s debt is issued through GE Capital to support its financial services businesses.
Before leading the treasury operation, Ms. Cassidy spent several years as Executive Vice President and Managing Director for GE Capital Real Estate, where she was responsible for both the Strategic Ventures Business and its Mexican operations. Prior to that, she led GE Real Estate’s Capital Markets business, where she was responsible for building the CMBS and Institutional Capital business for small and large loans. A 33-year GE veteran, she pioneered in 1987 the company’s early securitization efforts in asset-backed consumer and commercial products.
Cassidy is on the Board of buildOn.
Cassidy holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and a MBA from Fordham.
